Also means
disillusioned
Usage Note
Deluso is the past participle of deludere (to disappoint) used as an adjective. It agrees in gender and number: deluso / delusa / delusi / deluse. It is often followed by di + infinitive (deluso di non aver vinto) or da + noun (deluso dalle aspettative). A false friend warning: English 'deluded' means illuso or pazzo in Italian — deluso means 'disappointed', not 'deluded'.
Examples
"Sono deluso dal risultato dell'esame."
Natural Translation
I am disappointed by the exam result.
