determiner pronoun TOOT-toh Common

Origin: from Latin totus

Also means

Tutto means 'all' or 'whole' and, before a noun, takes the article after it (tutto il giorno = 'all day'). As a pronoun it means 'everything' (tutto bene? = 'all good?'). It agrees as tutto, tutta, tutti, tutte, where tutti alone means 'everyone'.

Literal Translation

I-have eaten all the bread.
