serale

evening, nightly

adjective seh-RAH-leh Rare

Usage Note

Serale means 'of or relating to the evening' and functions as a pure modifier: corso serale (evening class), edizione serale (evening edition). It does not change for gender but takes the regular -i plural (corsi serali). Do not confuse it with serotino, which is a literary synonym found mainly in poetry.

Examples

"Frequento un corso serale di italiano."

Natural Translation

I attend an evening Italian class.
