Furibondo expresses an intense, almost uncontrollable rage — stronger than arrabbiato (angry) and more literary or emphatic in feel. It has four forms: furibondo, furibonda, furibondi, furibonde. It often appears in literary or journalistic writing to convey dramatic fury; in everyday speech, furioso or arrabbiato da morire are more common.
