Usage Note

Vagabondo is both noun ('a vagrant, tramp') and adjective ('wandering, roving'): uno stile di vita vagabondo. As a noun it can be mildly pejorative in reference to a homeless person, or affectionate/romantic in reference to a free-spirited wanderer. The feminine is vagabonda; plural vagabondi/vagabonde.
