Usage Note
Sussidiarietà is a political and legal term — the principle that decisions should be taken at the most local level possible, prominent in EU governance and Catholic social doctrine. Like all Italian nouns ending in an accented vowel, it is invariable: the plural is also sussidiarietà. It is rarely used outside formal or academic discourse.
Examples
