Seminascosto is a compound of semi- (half) and nascosto (hidden), meaning partially concealed. It is used to describe objects or people only partly out of view — a sorriso seminascosto (a half-hidden smile). It is invariable in form for masculine singular but inflects normally (seminascosta, seminascosti, seminascoste).
