Usage Note

Abituato is the past participle of abituarsi used adjectivally, always followed by a + infinitive or noun: sono abituato a lavorare tardi ('I am used to working late'). It agrees in gender and number: abituata, abituati, abituate. The reflexive verb abituarsi means 'to get used to something'.
