Also means
to return
Usage Note
Ridare is a compound of ri- (again) + dare (to give), meaning to give something back or to give again. It is conjugated irregularly like dare: ridò, ridai, etc. Uses avere as auxiliary. Do not confuse with restituire, which is more formal and specifically means to return/restore.
Examples
"Ti ridò il libro domani."

Literal Translation
To-you I-give-back the book tomorrow.
