Usage Note
Ragionamento refers to a chain of logical thought or an articulated argument: il tuo ragionamento non regge (your reasoning doesn't hold up). It is always masculine. Do not confuse it with ragione (reason, right) or ragioneria (accountancy) — three related but distinct nouns from the same root ragione.
