Usage Note
Pochissimo is the superlative of poco (little), meaning 'very little' or 'hardly at all'. As an adverb it is invariable: dorme pochissimo. As an adjective-determiner it agrees in gender and number: pochissimo tempo, pochissimi soldi, pochissima gente. It is the most emphatic way to express scarcity short of niente (nothing).
Examples
"Ha dormito pochissimo stanotte."
Natural Translation
She slept very little last night.
