Usage Note

Indisponibilità is invariable in the plural (like all Italian nouns ending in an accented vowel: le indisponibilità). It is used in administrative and sporting contexts to signal that a person or resource cannot be called upon — for instance, a player's injury ruling him out (indisponibilità per infortunio). The root adjective is indisponibile.
