Inammissibile is a legal term used when a court rejects a claim, appeal, or evidence as procedurally or formally defective—before even examining its merits. Outside law it can describe anything that should not be tolerated: un comportamento inammissibile (unacceptable behavior). The double 'm' is held across the syllable boundary.
