Usage Note
Folico is used almost exclusively in the fixed phrase acido folico (folic acid), a B-vitamin critical during pregnancy. It is a purely technical adjective and does not appear in everyday conversation outside nutritional or medical contexts. The feminine form is folica (supplementazione folica).
