Usage Note
Ficcare means to push or stick something into a tight space: ficcare le mani in tasca (to stick one's hands in one's pockets). The idiom ficcare il naso (to stick one's nose in) means to pry or meddle. The reflexive ficcarsi means to get oneself into (trouble): ficcarsi nei guai. It takes avere as auxiliary.
