Also means
sensitive
Usage Note
Emotivo describes a person who is emotionally reactive or sensitive, or a situation charged with emotion. It is not a direct false friend, but learners sometimes conflate it with emozionante (exciting, moving) — the latter describes what causes emotion, while emotivo describes who easily feels it. Forms: emotiva (f sg), emotivi (m pl).
Examples
"È una persona molto emotiva."
Natural Translation
She is a very emotional person.
