Also means
wrecked
Usage Note
Devastato functions both literally (a paese devastato = a town devastated by an earthquake) and emotionally in informal speech (sono devastato = I'm wrecked/exhausted). As a past participle of devastare, it agrees in gender and number: devastata, devastati, devastate. Colloquially it can mean simply 'wiped out' from fatigue.
Examples
"Dopo il terremoto, il villaggio era devastato."
Natural Translation
After the earthquake, the village was devastated.
