Usage Note
Decorrenza is a legal and administrative term for the date from which something takes effect — con decorrenza dal 1° gennaio ('effective from 1 January'). It derives from decorrere ('to run from a date, to elapse'). The fixed phrase a decorrere da ('as from, with effect from') is ubiquitous in Italian legal documents and official communications.
