Usage Note

Utopico describes an idea or plan as idealistic to the point of being unrealisable. Like other adjectives in -ico, the masculine plural is utopici and the feminine plural utopiche. It is generally pejorative in political discourse but can be used neutrally or admiringly in literary contexts.
