Usage Note
Tozzetto is the diminutive of tozzo (chunk, hunk). In Tuscan culinary tradition tozzetti are hard, twice-baked almond biscuits very similar to cantucci, often dipped in vin santo. Outside the food context the word simply means a small, thick piece of bread or other solid material.
