Also means
headstrong
Usage Note
Testardo is a fairly blunt label — calling someone testardo implies they refuse to change their mind even when they are clearly wrong. The feminine form is testarda, and the adverb is testardamente. A softer synonym is ostinato, which can carry a more positive 'persistent' flavour.
Examples
"Mio fratello è molto testardo."
Natural Translation
My brother is very stubborn.
