Also means
in one's sixties
Usage Note
Sessantenne is both an adjective ('sixty-year-old') and a noun (un/una sessantenne, 'a person in their sixties'). Like most -enne age adjectives it is invariable for gender but takes plural -i: due sessantenni. The related noun sessantennio means 'a period of sixty years', which is a different word entirely.
Examples
"Mia zia è una sessantenne molto attiva."
Natural Translation
My aunt is a very active sixty-year-old.
