Usage Note
Serenità ends in a stressed -à and is therefore invariable in the plural (la serenità / le serenità). It describes inner calm or peaceful clarity of mind, atmosphere, or sky (la serenità del cielo — the clarity of the sky). The related adjective sereno also means 'clear' of weather — cielo sereno — as well as emotionally calm.
