Sdraiare takes avere as its auxiliary in the transitive sense (ha sdraiato il bambino = he laid the child down). The reflexive sdraiarsi (to lie down) uses essere: si è sdraiata sul divano. The past participle used as adjective is sdraiato/a (lying down, reclined).
