Ripudiato is the past participle of ripudiare (to repudiate, disown) used as an adjective. It is used in family contexts (a disowned child) or in legal and political ones (a repudiated treaty). The Italian Constitution notably ripudia war in Article 11: L'Italia ripudia la guerra.
