Regolamentazione (note: the seed form regolamentazion is a truncated variant; the standard full form is regolamentazione) refers to the act or body of rules governing an activity: la regolamentazione del mercato ('market regulation'). It is feminine: la regolamentazione. Do not confuse with regolamento (a specific rulebook or set of regulations) or normativa (the regulatory framework as a whole).
