Usage Note
Primitività is an abstract noun (invariable in plural, like all -tà words) denoting the quality of being primitive — used in art criticism (la primitività delle forme = the primitiveness of the forms) and anthropology. It does not carry an inherently pejorative tone in academic Italian, where it can describe simplicity or rawness of expression.
Examples

Natural Translation
The primitiveness of this work is intentional.
