Pernottamento is the standard term in hospitality and tourism for a single overnight stay (una notte). Hotel rates are often quoted per pernottamento (per night). The related verb is pernottare (to spend the night, to stay overnight). It is more formal than simply saying una notte; you will see it on booking sites and travel documents.
