Usage Note
Incirca is used in the fixed phrase all'incirca, meaning 'roughly' or 'approximately'. It is rarely used alone without the article + preposition construction. All'incirca is interchangeable with circa, pressappoco, and più o meno, but sounds slightly more formal. Note that circa can stand alone before a number (circa cento persone), whereas incirca almost always requires all' before it.
Examples
"Ci vorranno all'incirca tre ore di viaggio."
Natural Translation
It will take approximately three hours of travel.
