Usage Note
Estremità is invariable in the plural — le estremità — like all Italian nouns ending in a stressed vowel. It refers to the far end of something (l'estremità del cavo = the end of the cable) or the limbs of the body (le estremità = the extremities: hands and feet). The accent marks final stress, so be sure to stress the last syllable.
Examples
"Ha le estremità fredde in inverno."
Natural Translation
She has cold extremities in winter.
