appendice
appendix
noun ahp-PEN-dee-cheh Rare

Usage Note
Appendice covers both the anatomical organ and the supplementary section at the end of a book. Unlike English, which has 'appendix' for both, Italian also uses appendice for a serial fiction installment (romanzo d'appendice = feuilleton). The plural is regular: appendici.
