Also means
fallen from grace
Usage Note
Decaduto is the past participle of decadere used as an adjective. In legal language it means a right or term has lapsed or expired (un diritto decaduto). In social or literary contexts it describes someone or something that has declined from a former greatness — una famiglia decaduta (a once-noble family that has fallen). Do not confuse with deceduto (deceased).
Examples
"Il suo titolo nobiliare era ormai decaduto."
Natural Translation
His noble title had by now lapsed.
