Clamore is masculine and usually uncountable in the sense of 'noise/uproar'. The plural clamori exists but is rare. The adjective clamoroso ('sensational, resounding') is very common in sports journalism: una vittoria clamorosa. The phrase fare clamore means 'to cause a sensation / to make a splash'.
