Charme is a French loanword used in Italian to denote an elegant, sophisticated attractiveness that fascino (its native near-synonym) sometimes lacks in connotation. It is invariable: il charme, il suo charme. It is masculine and never pluralised in normal usage. Mostly found in fashion, lifestyle, and advertising writing.
