Usage Note
Bollente is the present participle of bollire used as an adjective, invariable for gender (acqua bollente, olio bollente, un liquido bollente). Colloquially it is also used for extreme air heat: fuori è bollente oggi (it's boiling hot outside). Not to be confused with caldo (warm/hot in general).
