Usage Note

Biondo describes fair or golden hair and, by extension, a fair-haired person — una bionda (a blonde woman), un biondo (a blonde man). It also appears in food contexts: birra bionda = 'lager' (literally blonde beer). The feminine bionda is commonly used as a noun. Plural: biondi (m), bionde (f).
