Usage Note
Beneficiare takes the preposition di when followed by a noun: beneficiare di uno sconto ('to benefit from a discount'). It uses the auxiliary avere in compound tenses. Do not confuse with beneficiare in the legal sense, which means 'to be a beneficiary of a will'.
Examples
"L'azienda ha beneficiato degli incentivi fiscali."
Natural Translation
The company benefited from tax incentives.
Literal Translation
The-company has benefited of-the tax incentives.
