Vissuto is the past participle of vivere (to live), used as an adjective to mean 'lived through' or 'experienced'. A personaggio vissuto is a well-rounded, life-worn character; una casa vissuta is a home that feels lived-in. Do not confuse with vivo (alive) or vivace (lively).
