adjective oo-GWAH-leh Less Common
Origin: Latin aequalis (of the same kind)

same
Usage Note
Uguale is invariable for gender (same form for m/f singular) but takes -i in the plural: uguali. It is often reinforced with del tutto (del tutto uguale — completely identical). Uguale and ugualmente are also used colloquially to mean 'all the same / it doesn't matter': per me è uguale (it's the same to me).
