Usage Note

Totocalcio is Italy's historic soccer pools game, launched in 1946, in which players predict match outcomes (1/X/2 = home win / draw / away win). Though the game still exists, it has largely been eclipsed by newer betting platforms. Il totocalcio is always masculine and has no standard plural.
