Sopprimere takes avere as its auxiliary (ha soppresso). It can mean to suppress (a revolt, information), to abolish (a law, a train service), or to kill/eliminate euphemistically. The past participle soppresso is also used as an adjective — treno soppresso (cancelled train) is a common notice in Italian stations.
