robbed
Usage Note
Rubato is the past participle of rubare used as an adjective. Note that in music the Italian term tempo rubato ('stolen time') is borrowed unchanged into English. In everyday Italian, rubato simply describes something that has been stolen; it agrees in gender and number like any adjective.
Examples
"La mia bicicletta è stata rubata."
Natural Translation
My bicycle has been stolen.
