Rifilmizzare is a niche term in cinema criticism meaning to adapt a literary or other source material into a film again — i.e. to make a new film version of something already filmed. It is a compound of the prefix ri- (again) and filmizzare (to adapt for film). It rarely appears outside specialist film journalism.
