Regolamentare is both an adjective meaning 'as prescribed by the rules' (e.g. tempi regolamentari, 'regulation time' in football) and a verb meaning 'to regulate'. As an adjective it is invariable in gender, taking only -i in the plural. Don't confuse it with simple regolare ('to adjust').
