Also means
to repent
Usage Note
Ravvedere is almost exclusively used reflexively: ravvedersi means to change one's ways, come to one's senses, or repent. Si è ravveduto in tempo ('He came to his senses in time'). It takes essere in the reflexive form. The non-reflexive ravvedere (to see again/reconsider) is rare.
Examples
"Alla fine si è ravveduto dei suoi errori."
