Raccolto is the past participle of raccogliere ('to gather, to collect') used as a noun. Il raccolto refers to the seasonal harvest (un buon raccolto — 'a good harvest') or the total crop yield. As an adjective, raccolto also means 'gathered, collected' or 'compact/cosy' (un ambiente raccolto — 'a cosy atmosphere').
