Usage Note
Proseguimento comes from the verb proseguire (to continue) and denotes the act of carrying on or the continuation of something already underway. A very common set phrase is buon proseguimento!, said when parting mid-event or mid-journey, wishing someone well for the rest of their activity — roughly 'enjoy the rest of it!' This formula has no neat one-word English equivalent.
Examples
"Vi auguro buon proseguimento della serata."
Natural Translation
I wish you a good rest of the evening.
