Propenso means disposed or inclined toward something and is always followed by the preposition a plus an infinitive or noun — sono propenso a credere ('I am inclined to believe'). It is the adjective from the verb propendere ('to lean toward') and is more formal than incline or tendente. Agrees in gender and number: propensa, propensi, propense.
