orientato

oriented

adjective oh-ree-en-TAH-toh Rare

Usage Note

Orientato is the past participle of orientare (to orient), used as an adjective meaning directed toward or focused on something: orientato al cliente (customer-oriented), orientato al futuro (future-oriented). It agrees in gender and number. The reflexive orientarsi means to find one's bearings, both literally and figuratively. The seed lists it as a verb/infinitive, but orientato as a standalone form is adjectival.

Examples

Natural Translation
