Usage Note
Nozze is used almost exclusively in the plural (le nozze); a singular nozza does not exist in standard Italian. Common collocations: anniversario di nozze (wedding anniversary), viaggio di nozze (honeymoon), nozze d'oro/d'argento (golden/silver wedding). Do not confuse with matrimonio, which is the institution of marriage or the wedding event in general.
